The  Scottish  Short Course Championships  with  Seniors doing 4K were held on Saturday at Bellahouston Park. The course and its condition, in the torrential rain made for a  real  cross country challenge so well done to all the athletes who competed and represented the club at this event. Despite the horrendous weather the entry lists were up again .Amongst the heroes were the U15  and U 17 Teams Girls and Boys and a good turn out from Senior athletes.

Heather Barnes took a well earned Bronze medal in a Gold winning team with Emily Crusher and Lynn McKenna.

Erin Wallace stormed over the deep puddles and mud in her imperious way to take another First place and lead her team mates Nikki Miller and Danielle Kelly to the Gold Team Medals for good measure . A great day for all  the squad with the boys coming through this test well and determined to match the girls soon.

The Seniors had some new faces , some stalwarts and some older ones  , Seniors ,Vets, Masters,Super Vets and Masters  competing over XC         [What is the correct term now?]
