Stateside news from Luke Traynor who took the 10,000 Metres Title at a major collegiate event – the American Conference in a Stadium record, winning major points for his University of Tulsa Team and putting him in winning form before the 5000 on Sunday night.  The ‘Golden Hurricane ‘ epithet was from the Race Commentator as he stormed over the last lap looking poised and comfortable,  running like a champion .

Dudley Walker adds that Luke has had a number of great performances recently, including a substantial PB in his 10,000 with a 29.10 time at the Stanford University Invitational and lowered his PBs in both his 5000 to 14.04 and 3000 to 8.14. Dudley says look out for Fireworks on Sunday Night when Luke goes over  that 500om.

Club members can catch the last lap of the 10,000 on the Highlights and the 5000 live on the following link .
