Another weekend at the Emirates and great performances all round for Giffnock Athletes.
Reuben Nairne broke his own Age Group record again in the 60m Hurdles , Erin Wallace added the SAIL 800m record at Under 17 to her list ,Sophie Haldane took the SAIL triple jump record for Under 17s and Hamish Armitt returned from his First Place success over the XC at Milton Keynes to take his place in The Giffnock Track Team. Another XC 1st place for Hamish!!

In the main SAIL Competition the club made the Podium in 7 out of 10 Finals

And in the Relay Finals, as Lara Maguire age 9 , at her First SAIL pointed out almost incredulously , the club had PODIUM appearances in every Age category. Boys Under11/13/15 /17 teams got the gold with U20 Men taking the Bronze. The Girls took gold at U17 and U20 with Silver for Under11s/13s & 15s . So plenty of medals going home with lots of tired but happy faces.

Another vote of thanks to all the Officials who made this possible, the athletes who came and performed to their best, the parents for support, coaches and Team Managers who ensured the participation but also a huge vote of thanks to our own Billy Glasgow for continued and committed organisation and administration of this Indoor League.
