The Scottish 10,000m Championships were held at  GAA Miler Meet at Crownpoint Road Stadium tonight.  Giffnock  took two of the medals- Chris Greenhalgh getting the Gold in the Vet 40 Category and Ted Gourley the Silver in the Vet 50 Category. Apart from these highlights, the athletes and supporters had the privilege of  the medals being presented by all 3 of our GB Rio Olympic Marathon Team. Callum Hawkins, Tsegai Tewelde and  Derek Hawkins , all were on hand to present the medals on a still very cold but dry night at the Track . Well done to Chris , Ted and Luke [Chamberlain]  Toughs of the Track. And thanks to Calum , Derek and Tsegai for braving the cold along with the Athletes , Officials, Organisers and Supporters . Giffnock was also well represented among the Officials with Doleen & Jim Galbraith and Anne Stewart back in her usual role. A well organised meet on the Crownpoint 2014  Track . Full results will be posted when available
