A very enjoyable morning was had by our fabulous U11 Superteams athletes this Sunday 30th May.

We decided to run a competition for U11s only, although strictly speaking the Superteams is an U12 event. This allowed our youngest members to enjoy their first athletics competition with their peers.

The sun shone as our athletes took part in the 600m, 75m, long jump, standing long jump, overhead throw and turbo javelin and all results can be viewed on the open track.run web site.

A massive thank you to the coaches, parent helpers and the older GN athletes who gave up their holiday Sunday morning to help these young runners, jumpers and throwers start their journey in athletics.

Thank you also to Alyson Bell who dropped by in her GB attire to inspire our budding athletes to greater things.
