WORLD CLASS CONGRATULATIONS to Hannah Ryding, selected at u20 level for the Great Britain & Northern Ireland squad jetting out later this month to Australia for the 2023 World Cross Country Championships.
The ever-modest Hannah’s consistent hard work in training and racing has earned her this proud honour, along with no end of positive reaction from her junior endurance team-mates and coaches (last count 52 hits on the squad FB page posting), including the much-repeated comments, “Well done!”, “Brilliant news!” And “Well deserved”. All true, every word.
From the whole club, Hannah, a massive round of applause to you, your family and your coaches Lynne MacDougal and Laurence McGregor.
THE 2023 WORLD XC CHAMPS take place in Bathurst, New South Wales on Saturday 18th February. Hannah is one of two Scots in the GBNI squad, the other being Senior Ladies star, Megan Keithof Inverness Harriers.
The 2023 edition of the World Cross Championships marks the 50th Anniversary of the event. So that’s the Golden Anniversary, in an area known as Gold Country … could be an auspicious sign for Team GBNI?
