Following the recent successes at the Scottish Schools Championships the following athletes have been selected to represent Scotland at the upcoming SIAB (Schools International Ahletics Board) extravaganza in Belfast on the 16t July.

They will battle it out against school teams from England, Wales and an all Ireland team.

They join the growing list of GN athletes who have earned this honour.

Alasdair Nuggent, Huchinsons’,  3000m

Mark Herbert-Ruiz, Hillpark, Pole Vault.

Daniel Martin, St.Aloysius’, 100mH & 4 x 100m relay.

Isla Ross, Williamwood, High Jump.

Cara Weir, Hillpark, Pole Vault.

This is essentially an u17 event so a special mention to Isla who is being asked to step up an age group.
