Scottish u17/Senior Indoor Championships

The Scottish u17/Senior Indoor Championships saw some stellar performances from Giffnock athletes.  Not least senior high jumper Nikki Manson who smashed her own Scottish Indoor record with a fantastic leap of 1.92m.

There were further senior medals from Erin Wallace, returning from injury, she took the Silver in the 1500m.  Just pipped on the line for the title. Bronze medals were won by Erin Campbell in the 60m hurdles and Jenna Wrisberg in the 60m.

In the under 17 age group Giffnock had a fantastic 1-2-3 in the mens 1500m.  Harris Paterson took the title in a new club record of 4.08.27, with Ross O’Brien in Silver and Reuben MacDonald in bronze.

Alyson Bell added another title to her name taking gold in the 200m in a new club recod time of 25.02 and silver in the 60m, also in a new club recod (7.59)

Isla Fotheringham took silver in the pole vault with a height of 2.69m and bronze medals were claimed by Jacob Luc, 800m and Julia Cash 1500m.
