On Friday 2nd September 52 of our finest young athletes, (u13s & u15s), coaches, officials and parents travelled down to Manchester, Sports City for the YDL Lower Age Group UK Final taking place the following day.  The competition was very tough with some of the top English clubs taking part.  Never the less our youngster acquitted themselves admiraly.  The medal tally was 10 gold, 8 silver & 8 bronze, and there were 3 club records. Our final placing on the day was 6th.

Special mentiod goes to Scarlet Wilson who’s 1500m Gold medal winning performance was a League Record and earned her Athlete of the Match. Scarlet’s time was 4:34.37.
