The first Scottish National Athletic League (SNAL) match of the season was held on Saturday 12th April at Grangemouth. This is the premier track & field league in Scotland for u17, u20 and Senior men and women. Giffnock North fielded a total of 36 athletes across 100m, 400m, 800m, 1500m, 2000m SC, long jump and high jump. The weather varied wildly from benign breeze to stormy rain. So well done to all our athletes for battling through the elements. A significant of them even managed to post PBs! Our Endurance group were the headline act scoring maximum, or near maximum point in all events. In terms of overall league position our U20 Women, sitting in first place and our U20 and Senior Men are sitting in third place were our best performing teams on the day.
