Another athlete operating across the pond is Adam Clayton, he ran a Scottish Indoor Record for 200m of 21.07 in Texas (subject to ratification) and also lowered his 60m PB to 6.73 seconds. Impressive stuff.
Adam said “Very happy to run a new Scottish record and set a big PB in the 60 as well. Feels good to be back running fast and enjoying it. Hoping to carry the momentum from this indoor season into outdoors.”
At the Scottish Masters Indoor T&F Championship at the Emirates, Angela Kelly (W60) did the 60m/200m double taking Gold in both. Not bad for a lady who was told she would not run again following a knee operation ?
Colin Wylie (M50) also took two medals taking bronze in both the 400m and 800m.
At the England Athletics Age Group Indoor Championships in Sheffield, Isla Ross took a silver medal in the u15G High Jump with a leap of 1.61m. Rachel Callan was third in her heat of the u20W 400m running a new club record of 56.61.
